Please be aware that an ever increasing number of fraudulent companies are offering hotel rooms to congress attendees. Companies calling themselves Exhibition Housing Management and Convention Hotel Services have been contacting exhibitors and companies supporting the ITS WORLD SYMPOSIUM in Hamburg 2021.

If you are contacted by any other company or agency offering housing for the ITS WORLD SYMPOSIUM 2021 in Hamburg, please note that these companies are not authorized to represent the ITS WORLD SYMPOSIUM in any way, nor do they have access to the officially contracted ITS WORLD SYMPOSIUM 2021 room blocks or rates.

How Does Hotel Fraud Work?

These groups promote attractive deals with local accommodation providers, but once payment has been received, the company disappears and can no longer be contacted by phone or email. Once the attendee contacts the hotel directly about their room, they realise the hotel has no record of them or their stay. Not only is their money gone, they must then scramble to find last-minute accommodation, which is rarely convenient to the venue.

Use credit cards to guarantee your rooms, rather than wire transfers.

Cancellation terms

Free cancellation until 16 September 2021
All bookings made only after the mentioned dates for free cancellation are automatically binding. Bookings cannot be cancelled free of charge and the hotel reserves the right to charge up to 100% for any cancelled night. INTERPLAN and the hotel will try their utmost to resell any cancelled room in order to avoid cancellation fees. For any reselled room, Interplan will charge an administration fee of € 35 net per cancelled room night. This fee is subject to VAT according to German and European regulations.

Payment terms

The booker guarantees the hotel booking with the given credit card, which is shared with the booked hotel. The payment will be due upon arrival in the hotel direct.
Some hotels reserve the right to test the given credit cards by charging one or all nights ahead of your arrival (approx. 2 weeks before the event starts).
By making a booking you herewith confirm that INTERPLAN and/or the hotel is allowed to charge the given credit card with any amount arising from the published terms & conditions.
